Hi, I own a 2003 Toyota Celica Gt. I just got an aftermarket radio installed and everything seemed to be working correctly until it got dark out. Now my climate control lights do not work. My rear defrost button and a/c button light up when i press them but everything on my climate control dials dont light up. So i took my dash apart and found 2 small bulbs that cause the climate controls to illuminate ( they were small green bulbs that screwed into a circuit board). I tested them and 1 of them works but the other is blown. I was going to buy a new set of two from ebay and i was wondering if that part of the circuit board is wired so if one of those lights out both of them go out. Or i was wondering if i have to buy a whole new board. I dont expect much (if any) answers because all of the local parts stores started at me like they saw a ghost when i asked them about it.

I don’t know a lot about celica but I know a little bit about electricity, maybe the bulb are connect in series, that mean if you have a short somewhere the two bulb won’t light up 🙂 and I’m pretty sure that the fact one bulb is broken is the cause of your short 😛 because electricity is simple you need a + and a – you cut one of these and nothing work, your light are connect like this( i think) (+)——(bulb)–(bulb)—(-) the fact that one of the bulb is broken cut the circuit and shut down the second bulb that suposed to work proprely :silly:

        I hope,I help you :cheer:
