getting too hot means too much current is going through them. this happens when say you use too small of a power wire for an amplifier. Did you trace all of the wiring to check for breaks, shorts, oxidation. Try continuity test, resistance. Circuit breakers can wear out as they get old and keep tripping. contacts can get oxidized. hmm as i reread, are those circuit breakers high quality?
