I’m confused. Is the idle running around on you? Did you test the integrity of the TPS circuit before you replaced the sensor? Did you verify that the sensor was bad by using a DVOM and running a sweep test on it? If your idle is high, you may just have a vacuum leak, or some other issue. Here’s a video on checking for vacuum leaks as a starting point. Heed the advice of having a fire extinguisher.
