You might want to check the carrier bearings, you can do this by pushing up on the inner CV joint on one side and observing the other, if you see the other side move as you move the inner joint on the oppisite side then there is excessive play in the bearings for the differential and replacing seals will not cure the problem you will need to either replace the bearings inside the transmission or replace the transmission. Not a bad idea to inspect the inner CV joint where it inserts into the transmission for any pits or burrs that might damage the seal. Lastly make sure you don’t loose the ‘spring’ on the seal as this will cause it to loose tension and therefore not seal as it should.
