So, I just had the engine mounts replaced today, and by chance I was re-adjusting/re-checking some things tonight(the rear mount’s bolt wasn’t torqued down at the shop or something, oops, no harm no foul) but all is well until…[i][b]coolant lThanks for sharing your experience._x000D_

Well, I’m in the process of trying to see the source leak, but so far no success. I used a mirror to observe from topside, the water pipe into the thermostat housing. I don’t see any leaks, and I cant see any runningUPDATE:_x000D_

It turns out the leak on the ground was the new oil filter with a poor seal at the gasket. So, looks like I can’t use that type of oil filter._x000D_

Got a great deal on an OE IACV so decided why not? Idle is better, however, the low idle symptom is still present._x000D_

I’m thinking EGR, but first I’ll reset the base idle. The mechanic today, a long-time Honda guy, saw the idle screw covered inWait, it was parked 4 years ago but for how long? How was it driving then?_x000D_

Replaced all 5 mounts, 2 were broken. 1 was dry rotting. The “transmission side” mounts were looking okay but also beginning to show signs of stress._x000D_

The broken mounts were the rear and the sub-frame mount, engine side(by the AC brI think it’s worth pulling the housing and replacing the o-rings, and the t-stat with an OE since I have no idea the previous owners maintenance. Who knows, maybe it is only an RTV sealer of sorts and no gasket is inside._x000D_

As for your oil interval habits, the only way to know if what you are doing is fine is to get a Used Oil Analysis.Eric, would bad wiring show itself by testing the wires into the harness via backprobing, or something of this nature with a proper tool(DVOM???)?_x000D_

(if say for instance, you dThere is a poster over on BITOG that did a lot of work on a sludged 98 Toyota, IIRC. Therefore, for starters pulling a valve cover is a must, IMO.
