Yea the tahoe or any engine jobs eric does is good there fav’s =] hint hint eric haha nah, but got any in near future =]?
Oh really i guess it happens….
The engine is kinda young its a ’06 hyundai accent with about 120,000 KM on it (think around 80,000 miles im not sure thats off the top of my head) so it may be worth while replacing the cylinder head or repairing it whatever might happen with it but either way i will bump this thread to let you all know and thanks for the opinions and replies so far :cheer:

Some fool probably put them in there with a impact of some description and done a number on it who knows lol we werent the 1s that put it in there and ill add the car has been in for a service but they couldnt get it out either but they didnt have days for penetrating oil
Could a impact attempting to get it out break the insulator off the top of the spark plug or any excessive force if it is stuck that good

Thanks everyone for replying i was thinking as much either a new cylinder head or mass repair on it either way most likely a removal of it eventually it still running fine for now but we shall wait and see 😉

September 13, 2013 at 2:11 pm in reply to: Readying cylinder head and block mating surfaces. #543994I believe it is possible to machine mating surfaces like blocks and cylinder heads back flat but that also changes all sorts of stuff out of spec making your compression ratios smaller and god knows what else, im not a mechanic 🙁 but you could machine it or go with it but a new head is probably cheaper then getting it machined
Those valves dont look to happy or are those the bent ones like you mentioned

My ways of figuring this out would be quite primitive but i would stick my phone down there to try to take a picture of it or i have a little extendable mirror with LED lights to see in tight spots and im shocking at stripping bolts i stripped my sump plug of all things which i used a pair of multi grip locking plyers , vice grips etc whatever they are called where you come from if u just wanted to put a new bolt in it you could use a set of those but they destroy the bolts with there teeth
