I have a 1/2in. and 3/8in. craftsman’s ratchets that I would like to lube up. Just wondering what brand or style of lube works best for your ratchets.

      Thank you!!

I used permatex red assembly lube. May bleed out a little bit at first, but works very well.

Depends on what type of ratche, snap on uses onnthier ratchets and includes in thier rebuild kits superlude which I use on pear head ratchets or I use Lucas assembly lube it’s green on my round heads but sometimes use it on pearheads with fine teeth as the super lube makes them jam. Another thing you can do is trim the spring that pushes on the paw it works wonders for stiff ratchets like craftsman and other ratchets that have low teeth count or stiff mechanisms. Good luck
