Finding and Fixing Fluid Leaks
I get asked about fluid leaks all the time. Fluid leaks are among the most common problems you encounter with your vehicle. In this article, we’ll talk about some of the more common fluids that might leak from your vehicle. We’ll also talk about low fluid levels with no visible leaks and their possible causes. You don’t mention the kind of leak that I have. I have a 2008 4Runner V/8 with a significant exhaust leak at the manifold. I’ve seen online that it’s a common problem with Toyota’s. I can’t tell if the gasket is bad or the exhaust manifold is cracked. Do you have any suggestions? The dealer wants $1400.00 per side to fix it.
