2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Update -ETCG1
After reading the comments to the last video where I introduced my new 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee, I decided to check the engine for a dropped valve seat. I ended up finding a problem in cylinder #8. Watch the video to get the details on that.
I’d like to thank everyone that made the suggestion to check for this problem. Now I know what direction I’m going to take with this vehicle.
No, I’m not going to put a 4.0L in it. I’m not going to make it the FiF loaner car either. I’m going to replace the engine and flip it hopefully for a profit that I will use to get either a shop truck, or FiF loner vehicle. Likely that vehicle will be a Honda Odyssey.
Also, don’t expect to see any videos on this project anytime soon. I want to start work on the Fairmont and get that car done first. Then I’ll turn my attention to this project.
