After almost 200,000 miles the shifter on my Honda Element was getting sloppy. This is due to the normal wear of the rubber bushings on the shifter base and at the cable connections on the transmission. I replaced the rubber bushings with the aluminum bushings from Acuity and the problem is solved!
**This process will also work for several other Honda vehicles with manual transmissions.
