Ok, so this summer I’m planning on going to my cousin’s house to try to resurrect an old 1951 GMC truck that’s been sitting in the same spot for at least 10 years. Our goal is just to get it running so that we can drive it around his land. I told him that we should change the engine oil, un-seize the engine, change the antifreeze, replace the battery, etc.
He told me that the engine oil looks fine, but like I said it’s been sitting for at least 10 years, so I told him that we needed to change it anyway.
We don’t have a very large budget but we want to get it running and we only have a week to do so.

Any suggestions on critical things we need to do to make it run right at 10ish mph on dirt?

And honestly we don’t know really care if the thing is totaled by the end of the week as long as it runs for that time.
