I got a 93 Sonoma, 4.3Z, automatic. Need to change the transfer case shift motor.

You only have to remove the drive shaft.

Driveshaft only….

You may be able to clean the contacts in the Position sensor in the motor and get it to work again. I’ve seen videos on youtube on how to repair them , however now I must not know the secret code words to get them to come up again…..
