Hello,
I truly would love some help trying to get my Truck back on the road.
Had some issues with the shifter that required me to remove the cowling from around the steering wheel. In the process the Coil Antenna for the PATS Transceiver module was severed. Apparently the prior owner had gone through process of adding remote start and in this process the module was placed in vulnerable area not.to factory design.
My question is can I make my own antenna. I am planning on simply tieing one of the chips directly to the darn antenna as an temporary fix till I can afford to replace the stupid Halo (Coil) antenna as the dealership calls it.
Any advice on making an antenna replacement would be super appreciated unless someone has a new coil antenna.
Attached are some pictures of one I snagged from the only junk yard truck in Hawaii that I was able to find.
