I have a broken flange on the bottom of a header on the passenger side; do I replace just the flange or do I need to replace the entire manifold? Also, my car has a Flow Master modification to it, will the Flow Master be affected by the installation of a new exhaust manifold?

Do you have a pic of what you got? Is it a stock manifold or a header? If its stock a
replacement manifold will be needed. If its a header and the flange is replaced the
existing piping will be short now. If it were me I would get a new header and be done
with it. Otherwise the existing piping will need a small piece put in. I would not start to
        cut up the existing exhaust.

I bought a replacement stock exhaust manifold. I have not actually seen the underside of the car where the broken flange is located. Honestly I’m not sure what the mechanic plans to do. I was told that the flange is part of the manifold itself so it would be easier just to replace the whole thing. I’m mostly concerned about weather or not the new manifold will affect the Flowmaster exhaust that is installed.

It should not affect anything if the manifold is the same which it should be (stock)
            Everything should bolt right up.
