05 odessey goes into alarm all the time. We have the correct keys and have done the reset process to no avail is there any other way to disable the anti theft system sothe horn and the lights will stop blinking during normal driving conditions

Yea, I’ve seen plenty of Honda hood switches go bad and I’ve fixed a few that way myself. I’ve also seen door lock actuators do the same thing though. So if the hood latch trick doesn’t work, you might want to check the door lock actuators starting with the drivers side.
