2006-2011 Civic Lower Grille and A/C Condenser

The lower grille on 2006-2011 Civics was, in my humble opinion, poorly designed. The holes in the grille are large and allow for big rocks to slam into the condenser. The condensers themselves are great, but if a huge rock hits them on the highway, it will cause an A/C leak. I’m also a member of a Civic forum and many members have mentioned this issue. There is a rather cheap way to fix it. After removing the front bumper, you can attach gutter guard to the inside of the grille using zip ties. I attached a picture of the stock grille so you can see how wide the gaps are.
