Wondering if any one has come across this problem. 2007 Impala stock system. The front speakers work every once in a while. The rears & front tweeters work. Doesn’t have the amp in the trunk. Googled & most people say bad front speakers. Hard to believe both go out & start working again at the same time. Head unit probably but the tweeters are the same channel as the fronts? I’ll look at it when the weather warms up.

Thanks for the input. I will set the fader to the fronts & only the tweeters will get louder when I increase the volume. Change balance from left to right makes no difference except the tweeters. The fronts will come on once in a while. If the radio is on you get blasted out or the door chimes will work as that goes through the left front speaker. I’ll look up a schematic & see where the tweeters splice off from the front speaker wiring harness.
