An idiot attempted to steal my car. I’ve replaced the door lock, ignition tumbler (with vat wiring & key) and finally got the car to start a dozen times without issue. But as soon as I tilted the steering column, the car will NOT start. The lights and gauges come on without security light (good) but no crank 🙁 One gentleman thought it might be the ignition actuator, no idea. Any ideas or suggestions please?? Thanks. :S

I’d start with the actuator too. Look for a break in any of the wiring passing through the steering column as well. I assume there is now no crank no matter what position the steering wheel is in.

Put the key in the ignition and turn it on, go down to the two small VATS wires at the main connector under the dash and be sure it ohms the same as the chip in the key. It is very easy to break those wires.
