      Hey everyone. I have a 92 Dakota with the 5.2 v8 2wd. Just got it actually. I noticed the Speedo doesn’t work however the cruise control does. I’m curious if anyone has an experience with the Speedo system. I havnt tested the cable yet but was wondering if I can rule out the vss with the cruise working.

        If it has a cable you may be able to chuck the cable with a drill and spin it to see
        if the speedo moves.

          That’s what I intend to do. Just wondering if anyone has experience with this issue

            Found some video about this – it is specific to the 92 dakota.
            You probably have a common failure on this truck. This may give a better idea, read the comments on the video too.

              I just watched this video a few nights ago but thanks for sharing. I’m going to look at the cable on my way off
