        I bought a OEM one and it seems like it’s build good for the money.
        It was only like $40 or $50 bucks.

          Look at KD Tool 3387 Macpherson Strut compressor.

          Did the job for me.

            Those ones that you guys are posting may work, but they are anything but safe. You should check out a few of Eric’s videos in which he uses that style, you can actually see one fail and almost take him out.

            For safety purposes, the 200.00 for the clamshell style is well worth it.

              The clam-shell looks like a great tool. However, I do see the option for buying the $40 dollar tool…I know safety safety safety, can’t put a price on safety, but, if one wears safety glasses and works carefully and is not in a huge hurry, it can be done. I would say, if you got that extra money and you see yourself using it multiple times, go for the clam-shell.
