Best brand of spark plugs

      What are the best spark plugs for a 05 Kia Sedona ? I was thinking of trying the E3 spark plugs any suggestions on why or why not to use them…

        NGK would be the best spark plugs for any car really. The E3 spark plugs actually really arent that good and after a while your car will probably start missing so use NGK.

          The best thing to do is consult your owners manual
          on what plug is recommended.:)

            +1 on consulting your manual. Stock plugs should be used with stock ignition systems. High performance spark plugs will not make a real difference unless used in tandem with a performance high frequency ignition system. Furthermore, high performance spark plugs (when using stock ignition systems) can actually have a cooler spark than stock plugs. Many people will go out and buy expensive plugs and swear they feel a difference but it is usually psychosomatic.

              Consult your owners manual or service manual for the type of spark plugs you need. If you don’t have one, you can go to your local auto parts store and they can look it up for you. Just make sure you tell them you want the OEM plugs that were originally placed in your car. Personally I am a fan of NGK spark plugs. I’ve alway use them and never had any problems.

                +1 on going with OEM. Cars built in the last decade or so have plugs that last 100k miles….what more can you ask for?

                  Stick with oem or use a ngk equivalent. In my opinion the E3 plugs are just a gimmick.

                    I’ve never had an NGK fail. Wear out yes,but never a misfire due to bad plug.

                    Had a tour of a Champion factory years ago and we demonstrated how they used high voltage to test plug quality on the manufacturing line. Every one failed, but he put them back in the line.

                    Poor luck with Bosch too.

                      +1 on OEM plugs. The engineers spent at lot of time and effort figuring out what plugs worked best in your engine, I suggest you follow their recommendations.
