Is your vehicle an auto trans or manual? Do you know if the rear has a LSD?

Please go back to STAY DIRTY LOUNGE/SERVICE AND REPAIR ANSWERS HERE and read the 2nd and third postings on the page in the the light blue area.
Also it is considered good etiquette to at least poke the thank you button at the bottom left corner of a post when someone takes the time to answer your question.

If it does it when the transmission is warm, but not cold, and is sort of a cyclic binding, then that is likely the center differential (not too uncommon) – the center differential is sealed, so changing the gear oil in the transmission (for a manual) or front differential fluid (for an automatic) isn’t going to impact it. Rear differential should be an open design, so it’s not likely that, either.

Chances are it is a stuck b solenoid in the transfer clutch if this is an automatic
