Civic EJ9 OBD2?

Hello everyone
I didn’t know where to place this so I’m sorry if this is not the right place.
I am looking for the OBD2 connector in my Honda Civic EJ9 1.4iS from 1997 but I can’t seem to find it 😮
Is it possible that I need a 3 pin to 16 pin connector?
And will a Bluetooth adapter still work on it?
On the internet I read that my car should have OBD2a (I have no idea what the difference between a and b is)

What year is the car? If its obd2 it should be the 16 pin connector.

1997 as stated above

It’s located on the passenger side of the console just to the left of the glove box. You may need to move the carpet on that side to access it.
