Alright, so I’m new here. I drive a 2008 Honda Fit and for past few years, only when the weather isn’t freezing outside it seems, my brakes have been making what sounds like a bed creaking when braking. It seems to get louder the longer I drive (to a point, probably the brakes heating up). I have had the Honda dealership take a look and they just sprayed brake cleaner on it and the sound went away for a while and it seemed to be minimal for some time. I slammed on my brakes a few months ago and unfortunately warped the rotors or the pads and had my personal mechanic friend change them out. A few weeks went by with no noise and now the sound is back. I’m probably going to take it in to the dealership to see what they think soon, but just wanted someone elses opinion. I am no mechanic by any means, just FYI lol.
