Could use access to Mitchell again. I use to have access to Ondemand5.com thru an employer that I was their IT guru for up until leaving there in 2009. Use to look up all my auto info and get lots of good info as well as be able to look up how many hours certain jobs are charged, so that i could weigh doing it myself or having one of my friends at the garage do it. They charged by whatever Mitchell estimated so if it said it was 3.2 hrs and took 2.25 hrs, they had to charge 3.2 hrs for profitability. I also had them set up with Napa Tracs which i had to support the software and database etc, as well as their NHOST Inspection Cart http://www.nhostservices.com/ which was a kiosked mode windows xp computer and I had to hack into it once with a custom autorun CD to be able to install a HP printer in place of the failed Canon printer. ( I got told not to do that again in a nice way. They dont like people messing/hacking into inspection carts ). But we had a line of cars to inspect and at $45 a pop with the state getting $25 of it, it had to be done to make money and keep customers happy. =)
btw Eric, thank you for the link on the mitchel’s site DIY. Even though if I won’t win (any lottery doesn’t like me :)),anyway I am going to buy an account for 1 year. In my opinion 26$ is not that big money.
