Hey everyone,

I own two Hondas (2009 Civic and 2013 CRV).

I do a TON of highway driving, so I’m constantly on roads with high speed limits and 18-wheeler trucks. My Civic’s hood is covered with paint chips and I have one or two on the CRV.

Is Honda paint low quality, or is this something that happens on all cars?

Honda has a program on the go for your year on honda civic. The paint on the hood and fenders prematurely cracks and splits resulting in chipping and rust. Take it to your dealer and ask about the recall notice on the hood, they will help you.
