That’s right, it’s diagnosing random intermittent missfire time with no codes!
Just kidding, got codes for cyl 6 ignition circuit and a cyl 3 missfire.
While I was taking the intake manifold off to get to the rear bank (cyl 3, if anyone was wondering I found out that the previous owner had put 2 no name knockoff ignition coils on those cylinders, Densos in the mail now), I noticed there was a noticeable amount of oil in the intake …uh…tubes? …things, that um, go into the cylinder.

Is this particularly something to be worried about? I know there are systems (PCV, EGR) that by design might let a little oil in, but is the amount shown in the picture too much? It’s a little more than a sheen, you can kind of see it on the gasket there.
Car is a 2000 Lexus ES300 with 184k miles, 1MZFE.
(I had been told the PCV valve is apparently well known for getting stuck open on these things, I did replace it when I got the car ~15k miles ago)
