      I want to swap my f23a4 ulev engine with a jdm f23a engine. Can i use the same sensors and ecu from the f23a4 on the new engine.

        If i swap over the exhaust manifold and the wideband O2 sensor to the jdm f23a it should be fine. I also read about swapping the vtec solenoid to the jdm.
        Ive spend searching the web to get as much info before doing my swap. Anybody with prior experience i would your help.

          i just thought its an old car not made to go fast so its not made to handle more power and weight but if you want to, do it.

            It takes alot more time, money and headaches doing those kind of swaps.

                  when i said swapped i meant if it was worth it getting it done i guess i need to be more clear on the matter next time i post thanks anyways

                      You have to consider the overall cost of doing something like that and the return to do so. If you’re in love with the car and have unlimited funds you can do anything you want but more often than not I get asked this same question and ‘how can I do this on a budget?’, the answer is ‘you can’t’. As suggested making a slow car fast is way more expensive and time consuming than taking a fast car and making it faster also given the age of the vehicle you’re talking about you also have to consider the stress the extra power is going to put onto the rest of the chassis, the list goes on from here. It’s not always a matter of just bolting parts up it’s also dealing with what breaks along the way as well as reengineering things to get them to work so as I said if you’re in love with the car and it’s your dream to make it and you have the funds to do so go for it, if you’re on a limited budget and you haven’t done anything like that before I would not advise it as you might get in way over your head and broke in the process. Also keep in mind that once you modify a vehicle to suite your needs in that way you devalue it no matter how much money you sink into it because unless you find someone that has the exact same taste as you no one will be interested in purchasing your ‘project’ should you decide to, or have to sell it at some point. In short there is very little ROI on an investment like that other than padding your ego.
