and I wanted to know what is the factory rpm setting?

Did some quick googling, but didn’t find exact idle rpm recommendations.

Seems like it isn’t something you should fart around with, though. From what I’ve read, the ECM controls your idle speed, and if you try to alter it, the computer will compensate and return the idle speed to “factory settings”, whatever they are. People are saying that you can cause trouble by trying to adjust the idle yourself.

At idle maybe its should be 750 +/- 50 rpm?

Has your hood been replaced? There should be an emissions label on your hood that says what your idle speed should be. But to answer your question, get your vehicle to operating temperature (when your cooling fan comes on). Then disconnect your IAC. Next, you have to jump the connector that you would jump if you wanted to check codes. You can use a small paper clip, just be sure you don’t shove it in and damage the pins. Once you disconnect the IAC and jump the connector it will put the vehicle in factory mode. Next thing you have to do is grab a flathead and adjust the screw that sits right above the throttle body. This will adjust the idle speed.
