If this is going to be the new default skin I would ask if it would be possible to keep the old template and allow people to switch between the old and new skin, I’m sure the new skin is to some people’s tastes but it feels really dark and a little hard on the eyes to me.
I was browsing the forum when the change occurred. For a minute I thought – how did I get here?
Not being much of a writer, I end up having to almost always edit my text. For awhile the edit box was light gray on dark gray. Thankfully, that is fixed.

Great suggestion. I was member in a forum that had some interesting color choices, about a dozen of them, but they had, in settings, option to switch to a vanilla basic colors template. I concur to your suggestion.
Unfortunately it’s not possible to have both skins available. The new skin comes with a lot of fixes for the old forum since the site software was updated. Embrace the change for now because it’s going to be around for a while.
As for the ability to alter the new skin that’s a question for the developer. Perhaps he’ll chime in here.
Cheers for the reply It’s looks great on my main pc maybe my laptop is just not up to do the job of showing the colours, ah well it can go on the long list of things to replace when money starts growing on tree’s
This template was a replacement for the old one that had the loading error therefore we can not go back to it for it has several flaws with it. This is the template that works and no way to let users change templates if we had others.
