Good MT Habits

I’ve seen the topic of good habits when driving a manual transmission widely debated and would love to hear Eric’s opinions and expertise on it.

Double clutching
Coasting in neutral (Which I’ve even read some people argue is illegal in some areas)
How long is too long holding the clutch in
Bleeding/maintaining fluid and/or separate reservoir vs ones that pull fluid from brake system
Problems with not fully engaging clutch before pulling out of gear or likewise forcing into gear
Optimum RPM’s to maintain (as in you obviously don’t want to drive down the expressway in second gear at like 7k rpm)

This list could go on, but I think there’s a lot of good stuff and I’ve seen some others talk about it, but didn’t see anything like it from ETCG
