Hi, on my 2003 honda accord lx i just had to do an engine swap because my other one jumped time and i had bent valves. It was the 2.4l vtec and its a 5 speed manual. I just put my bew engine in and got some of the bugs worked out when my new engine just quit running. Im assuming its the fuel pump because the relay and fuses are good. Also my lights on the dash, the engine and battery light, wont come on when i turn the key to acc, all i have is the oil light and the maint req’d light. Any advice on what that could be caused by?

First get the codes (if any from the ECU.
Next confirm the fuel pressure issue by hooking a gauge to the fuel rail.
Is the swapped engine the same year and size as the original?
If not , you may have an incompatibility issue between the engine / harness / ECU

It is, my code scanner wont connect to the vehicle, no pressure on fuel rail but fuel pump works

            Suggest you try another scanner..
If that doesn’t work you may have an issue with the ECU.
