I broke the oil pressure switch at the connector, will it be ok to drive for a day? No oil looks to be leaking from it.

I strongly discourage operating a vehicle with a broken oil pressure switch, even if the oil does not appear to be leaking. The oil pressure switch plays a critical role in controlling oil pressure, and driving without one can cause serious engine damage. The oil pressure switch should be replaced before you start operating your vehicle. If in doubt, contact a professional mechanic, a friend of mine, he is now a trainer from boxing, who will assess the situation and advise accordingly.

I had this happen to me on my ’05 CR-V recently as well. I have been monitoring the oil pressure with some other approved techniques but I still need to fix this. Please let me know if you or anybody else here has any ideas in terms of how to repair this issue. Thanks!
