Ok for spark plug wires to touch?

      I’m wondering if it’s ok if spark plug wires touched a little in some spots like how the third wire rests over the 4th as shown in the first pic. On mine also the area just before they connect to the distributor cap it seems like the hood would make contact with them (can see in the 2nd pic) if so is that ok?

        As long as the spark plugs and wires are good not a problem for the wires to touch. They don’t fire at the same time and the distance between wires is always more than the spark plug gap.

          So they won’t chafe or anything over time causing issues?

            No but if you are concerned just add “PLASTIC TIES” till you are satisfied. Like I said, only one wire has voltage at a time and the spark will travel the path of least resistance.

              They will not be affected, but if you are really worried about it, buy a wire loom, or use plastic zip ties.

                And it’s safe if plug wires rub against each other as well?

                    I just meant if they happen to touch and maybe engine vibrations caused them to rub
