I work at one of the three big auto parts stores. We do free scanning for DTCs. A customer came in to have his F350 diesel truck scanned and we got no reading out of the truck. As he went to leave the sore, his truck would not start. He claims our scan attempt blew his PCM. Is it possible that connecting a scanner to an OBDII port would damage a PCM? Thanks, Donny
