There’s a known problem with the rear DRUM brakes of these vehicles, where you apply the brakes and the rear wheels lock up really bad, it’s because the backing plate where the shoes sits, the Bosses stick out Just far enough to where the Shoes are out too far, and when the brakes are applied, they grind into the Drum in the corner, and lock up the wheels, the easiest way to repair the issue… replace the shows, and the Drums, and depending on the mileage and wear on them, the spring kit as well. This issue was with my car, and a Mechanic at a local garage mentioned it was a common issue, and he has replaced them at Lease once a month.
