well guys im stumped…i replaced almost every known suspension part on the car and im still hearing a loud pop/thunk sound when i break at a moderate speed of 20KMS or faster. A list of parts i have replaced are:
      -front and rear complete struts
      -lower control arms with balljoints
      -outer tie rods
      -swaybar endlinks and bushings
      -front pads and rotors

im at a loss…as i said its a loud POP! noise when i apply the breaks at a speed greater than 20kms…

here is a video of the noise

Engine mount, transaxle mount, CV joints.
Can you feel the pop say in the steering wheel?

nah nothing in the steering wheel at all…and also it dosnt clunk or click when i turn so im ruling CV axles out on that part…leaning towards a LF tranny mount

A clunk on acceleration or deceleration is indicative of a bad inner cv joint. Also, vibration above 20 to 30 mph can be a bad inner joint. The pops and clicks on a turn are a bad outer cv joint.

I’m with the others and going to say bad inner CV joint. Especially if it has ever had a impact to the wheel while stopping or a forced stop like hitting a ditch.
