My 2006 Dodge Charger 3.5L has been throwing codes lately. 0302 and 0202 consistently, and 0300 and 0660 occasionally. I can start the car in the morning or whenever the engine is cold with no problems…no codes, no rough idle, runs fine. After driving for a bit and the engine is warm, if I shut it off and turn it back on, I will immediately get codes and a very rough idle. I haven’t been able to find resolution to the problem, and I’d like to understand why it only does this after restarting the engine. Anyone have any idea? Thanks for the help.

How many miles do you have on it?
What condition are the spark plugs in?

Plugs were changed a year ago and are still in decent condition
Always get 0302 and 0202 first. A while later, I will get 0300 and occasionally 0660 with flashing CELI have swapped plugs and coil packs to see if the error follows, and it does not. Always remains on cylinder 2
P-0202 is a code for a injector circout malfunction on cylinder number two, P-0302 is a code for missfire on cylinder number two, it is possible you could have issues with that injector firing correctly when the engine is warmed up, i would check that injector and if its bad have it replaced.
i would also check the wiring to that injector or the connector to make sure you have a good connection, connector, wiring, and no corrosion… if you plan on changing the injector yourself, PLEASE DE PRESURRIZE THE FUEL SYSTEM FIRST! have a fire extinguisher handy, and make sure the engine is cold! also rags to soak up any gas spilled is smart.
