I did a rear brake job on my 2013 kia rio a month ago. I noticed they werent seating the pad the entire way on the rotor. I thought it may have had to do with the bracket. Upon closer inspection, there is a dimple in the rear pads that wasnt causing the pad to fully seat properly, so I just sanded the pads down a little and filed the dimple to fix the problem. The thing is, this is the first time I ever encountered this problem. Some of these pads have dimples on the rear others dont. I just opted to try to get rid of mine since it was causing uneven wear on the rear inner pads.
