While on vacation March 2015 I stopped by my dads garage and decided to make a video about his 1951 Chevy.

i think it would be awesome to see videos of this. I also think you should put everything on hold and record videos and help your dad restore it to its former glory. Everybody loves those restoration shows but, they never truly give justice to what all goes into it. In the least maybe you could take a couple of your older cameras and rig them up with different angles as your dad does the work and do a kind of time loop of it getting worked on.

Good video. I think you should have him fill in often. Have you considered an ETCGD Channel ? Thats a neat old ride. I said some choice words in a car not too much different that a long time ago, but it was because of the open headers and full race motor.. and the way he drove it hell bent for leather. I came out the seat too (no seatbelts in that one either).. small world. !

That car has been sitting for more than 30 years at this point. I don’t think he’s getting started anytime soon. We’ll wait and see what he does after he retires next year.

Throw some gas in it, check tires and oil, wash the windows and take a trip. Make sure it shifts and idles and run it down the road and your good to go. Stovebolts are known for being tough as nails.
