Today my little good old AX passed inspection :-)

Hi all, I just want to share this good news with all of you.

Today my little good old AX passed her bi-annual inspection with no issues at all.

The last weeks I had to fix an idle issue (resolved by replacing the idle stepper motor aka IAC valve), had to replace the front headlights ’cause the ones I repaired were being held together with zip ties 😆 , replaced the rear brake hoses which were starting to dry rot, cleaned the rear left brake drum which was all oiled with brake fluid :ohmy: leaking from the brake cylinder (which I’ll soon have to replace, I know).
In the process I also discovered that on Citroen AX the rear brake drum , to be removed, it needs you to take out the rear hub nut and the bearing is incorporated in the drum.

Quite different from what I had seen so far on Eric’s videos :woohoo:

My little good car passed the inspection (very much like the UK’s MOT) and I’m very happy!
She’s almost 20 years old now and still going strong!
