Recently I acquired a set of tools from a friend of the family. They are craftsman but the problem is there are alot of tools missing from the set. From what she told me, her husband purchased it back in the 90’s and over the years, many of the tools have gone missing. So it’s gone from a once was a 144pc set to like a 50 some piece. Alot of missing sockets, wrenches etc…

I was grateful to recieve this and I don’t to want to insult her by throwing them away. Instead would it be better to just buy a new complete set and keep the current set as like a spare?

Yep, keep it as a spare. Can’t have too many sockets and wrenches. I personally love Craftsman tools. Maybe able to throw together a basic set of sockets and wrenches for your kid, nephew (or niece) or something in the future. 🙂
