I have a 2006 Accord EX-L V6 with an automatic transmission with 76K miles. All the scheduled maintenance records I find say to do a drain and fill first at 60k miles then every 30k miles there after with no mention of changing the filter. I find this odd that Honda does not recommend changing the filter out at some point.
Can anyone shed any light on this for me?

Sure, let me pull my flashlight out…
As far as I know, Honda does not do trannie filters. Why is question to them, as Honda is also known for temperamental trannies, many contribute to lack of filter. But then again, drain and fill is a breeze.
Friendly suggestion. Do ATF drain and fill once a year no matter mileage driven. Thank me later.
