Had a complete brain fart during my recent rack & pinion (R/P) replacement. I didn’t center the (R/P). Quickly realized my steering wheel is upside down, but the wheels seem aligned pretty well – no drifting in any direction.

Is there any way to center the steering wheel without taking out the R/P?

This is a Toyota Sienna 2006 CE (2-wheel drive).

Seriously, your dealing with your vehicles steering.
There should be no fudge facturing involved.
Do the job correctly and never worry about it.

On each of the tie rods there is a nut on each one on each side, right and left You have to loosen those nuts on each side
Turn either the right side clockwise or the left side counter clockwise or reverse that If you turn the right side a half turn, you will then have to turn the left side a half turn. You will have to play with them until you have the steering wheel centered, but that is the process.

Thanks for taking time to respond. I got it fixed. Was a combination of your advice and reconnecting the lower steering assembly to the rack and pinion.
