My name is Ryan and I teach people how to shoot guns and I repair them too. I have always worked on my own stuff since my dad taught me how. I work on motorcycles, cars, law mowers and duh guns. I try and teach my friends basic car maintenance that I believe everyone should know. Now not all of them agree until I say okay lets look at your car. I like to have fun and would rather lay underneath a car then go to Disneyland any day. Since that is one less car on the side of the road that a person is now paying with their savings. Oh and my nickname is turtle because I doing things at a slow pace but like they come to know I get it done right the first time. Darn rabbits!

Awesome to see some gun lovers! I’m from canada so i’m fairly restricted on what I can shoot, but I’m soon to be picking up a CZ 858 (Czech rendition of an AK) 😀

Illinois isn’t the best spot for having a gun either. My dream gun just came out and it’s made by sig. A very nice assault rifle that interchangeable calibers and barrels plus can fit almost any magazine you put in it. A crazy new ammo type just came out for 9mm too that’s pretty crazy called the RIP made by g2r. Would not want that kind of pain on anyone. I usually go for dpms or bushmaster for rifles and smith and Wesson for pistols but just like cars everyone has their own preference and rightfully so.

Awesome bro! But I’m more into reliablity, simplicity and quantity :P.
the 7.62X39 is EVERYWHERE for dirt cheap! The rifles themselves can survive an apocolipse and I can rip em apart in a few seconds :D. Solid guns ahaha! Into hand guns too, LOVE the 1911, fits me the best. Glock and sigs feel cheap in my hands. Revolvers are also pretty cool!

I hear ya. I like simplicity sometimes too especially when it comes to having a gas tube or piston…go piston dumb gas tubes is just a rendition of steel vs plastic. It may be lighter but you drop that sucker in the mud and you can RIP.

Yes you can never go wrong with a 1911 but the 2011’s are slowly taking over. This is where my simplicity goes somewhere else and I say hello to technology. Oh and I dislike glocks….with a passion. My old boss loves them but like you said they feel cheap.

:p I’ll always stick to simplicity, weather it’s cars or guns! I find it to be more fun and enjoyable!
