One mechanic has said that one of cylinder of the engine is not working properly . He said that fuel is not getting into the 4th cylinder . The solution he said that .. may be the nozzle is blocked or it could be a problem with the valve of the fule pump .

i dnt really think that u hv faulty or weak fuel pump..try removing number 4 injector and clean it by using carburetor cleaner because if some dirt stuck in the middle of the injector it doesn’t work properly..also make sure that u dont hv any ignition fault on cylinder number 4..by using digital multy meter cheack for correct resistance of the injector from this u can figure any faults on the injector..forum super stars wat u guys think???

Misfire? If a fuel injector is suspected, switch it with another, see if the problem changes to where it’s moved.

If you’re ok with a “likely” answer, then I’d just replace the injector.

Again, I’d suggest moving that injector to another cylinder first to verify yanking the electrical connector from the injector there does the same thing as before. Otherwise you’re still not 100% certain it’s not the PCM, or a wiring issue, etc..

Buy the repair manual of your car for the procedure to pull out your injector.

What your mechanic did is called a ‘power balance test’. This is a great test for finding a problem cylinder but it does NOT tell you what’s wrong with it. For that you’d need to investigate further. It could be a mechanical problem, an ignition problem, a vacuum leak, or a fuel delivery issue. Just finding the bad cylinder is step one. Step 2 would be to verify spark and perhaps do a compression test to rule out a mechanical issue.

The car vibrates violently because it now has 2 cylinders that are not firing and if you only have 4 cylinders to work with then you have lost 50% and they don’t run very well (if at all) with that kind of loss. Check the compression wet and dry of all cylinders before replacing the fuel injector. If #4 is significantly lower than the others then do a leak down test to see where that cylinder is loosing compression. Eric has videos for both of these tests.

Got the problem fixed . The problem was that one rocker arm was broken because of bad timing belt installation . Now the car is running fine .

                      Thnx guys for your help
