Hi guys, first time to this forum and I need some help, I own a 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe V6 and I am experiencing some weird electrical issues. This car’s AC starts at 25 degrees Celsius when you disconnect the battery, right now, everytime I start the car, the car acts like the battery was disconnected, the AC starts at 25 degrees and the dome lights don’t come on at door mode with the car shut off, but they come on when the car is started, in addition to all that, the remote doesn’t work, it was working perfectly fine before, and I checked and the remote isn’t bad, sorry for the long message, but I really need to get the car back on the road and I couldn’t find an answer for it, Thanks a lot!

Check your fuses. It seems like the dome lights are coming on because they are backfeeding through another circuit when the ignition is on. If fuses are all good, then a ground or relay may be the culprit.

I had a car acting like that before not a Santa Fe but a PT Cruiser and it ended up being the main computer. it also had other probs tho like different electrical systems shutting off at random and the transmission missing shifts.

In the Santa Fe, like most Hyundai, the door lights, lock relays, and certain memories (like the A/C temp mentioned above) are controlled by a module called ETACS rather than the main computer.
