i will update the fothere was quite a but of moisture in the system from what my uncle said. i thought maybe he vacuumed it out, but maybe he didnt. could that be just from the system not operating for a long period of time, or a bad part in the system?
thanks for the help thus far 😀
how would i go about resetting the high pressure switch??
any idea where the switch is located on a 1998 honda civic??
just got home not long ago. i went and bought some wiper fluid and anti-freeze because both are low. havent put the anti-freeze in yet. but i know for certain now i do have an oil leak. the snow has melted and there are puddles of water in my drive way, with oil in it. i never noticed this before because the snow .
should i have the mechanic locate the oil leak when he changes the oil? and how much might it cost to get a leak fixed depending on where its coming from?
i dont have much $ to work with…I’ll have to check for leaks when I get home.
I have not had an oil change yet. I am planning to go in for service next week. And my temp gauge always shows a little under half when it’s warmed up.
Could it have anything to do with my car having a bad O2 sensor? It went bad a about 3 weeks ago and I just haven’t had the spare cash to get it replaced.
And this is my first car…
The rear sensor that’s further down the exhaust is the bad one. The smell I’m not sure where it’s strongest. It usually gets strongest web I come to a stop and then go again it’s really strong. My guess is because it has time to accumulate rather than when driving the wind takes it. I don’t smell it to strong when I get out.
