I didn’t see a fuse for it and I didn’t see power coming through. It may have another fuse box in the trunk compartment. Thanks I didn’t think of the fuse lol. In
I was considering dropping the pan or sucking the fluid out through dipstick and changing the filter later.
The fluid it’s self doesn’t look too bad and still has a sweet smell. For the mileage I would have assumed it would be safe. I have changed it on several others but never on one with this many miles. The fluid isn’t pink but on a towel is a light brown
I unplugged sensor and it went back to 5 volts. I checked spark and fuel on it. I also looked for vaccum leaks using propane and carb cleaner.

Thats the thing there is no check engine light on at all. Truck was running rough so I checked ignition, fuel, and then I checked the map sensor and thats how I wound It had low voltage.

how do I do that? kinda new to this hahaha! I learn a lot on here. Glad to have everyone input
Thanks a lot Eric. So far I did the pcv valve, spark plugs, air filter, oil change, and spark plug wires.
should it be fine? I have no kind of fuel odor coming from the truck? I do a lot of short trips and live were its cold. I thought that could be a factor too.
I tested the cat and its 100 degrees hotter at the outlet. seems to be working ok. In this state everyone has black tailpipes here. I think i will start using gas additives. not to pass but to help clean things up. I just did the plugs and i am going to change the wires next. I will also do the pvc sometime in the future. An older man owned it before who did a lot of maintenance to it so it should be ok. before i moved i had a 1983 honda accord that passed and it burned oil, gas, and everything else, and that was my first car. This one is in way better condition LoL!
its a 1994 gmc sierra 2500. no check engine light on. I smell no gas when I get in and out. I just freaked when I was black in the inside of the tailpipe.
does black inside the tailpipe mean you will fail emissions?
o and the car is showing no codes
I did a vac check and it doesn’t have one. or at least I couldn’t find one. next I think I will check spark and see if it may be something with that. It starts right back up after it stalls. I am trying to do test I don’t want to just buy parts that gets expensive lol : )
