i have a really bad problem with being vague. it does start. just takes more cranks then it should. and sometimes it bogs out really bad during like its flooding out. i had to resolder the main relay once. since then its never given me a problem. now i just need to figure out what to look for and where to look. O2 has been replaced less than a year ago.didnt help. ran through the intake and cleaned the IAC,fast idle solenoid and throttle body to see if that helped too. nope. did a vacuum check, no leaks. fuel pressure check, 45 lbs stable at idle with vacuum pinched on FPR. stumped.

i had the same thing happen on my 94 accord. i put a lead from the battery all the way to the pump and ran it that way for a little bit, after i plugged the original connector back in after running it, the pump would run. i was reading something about the ecu and how it has a cutoff integrated in it, once you bypass the pump from the ecu and let it run, it resets the cutoff. i think it was their answer to no inertia switch. another thing you can look at if you havent already is to find the ground for the fuel system electrical. ive had that stump me out once or twice too.

take a dummy light, put put the clip on the connection for the coil and probe the killswitch, try to start it normally. if the lights not blinking when you pull, you might have to get a new killswitch. alot of the times you can just clean them up.

my thing for awhile was this one newbie kid, looked like he was straight outta tech school, didnt have a dime to his name. im generally a big hearted person (get me in a lot of trouble) and would lend him tools he didnt have, only to either have them returned looking like they came out of an horses butt, or not have them returned at all. ive since then made kind of a “contractual obligation”, if you borrow a tool ill barrow your phone, smokes, car keys ect. needless to say things are alot better now.

not all cars have a bleeder. if its not overheating then thats more than likely not your problem anyways. try to backflush the heater core if you feel comfortable to do so.
